Some of our learners found beetroot in our raised bed and some carrots. We loved exploring the colours and begun to write with the leaves of the beetroot. This made for some fantastic conversations about natural dye. Then they asked if we could add it to our play dough recipe which the children are getting great at making. It was a wonderful experiment and we have some lovely pink play dough now!
