Fine Motor and Pencil Control
This week also saw P1 choosing to explore directionality, fine motor control activities and writing activities. We learned the story of the little red hen and all took part in making our own retelling or the story too!
Problem Solving Outside
This week we spent time supporting each other and problem solving and creating ways to move our loose parts around the playground. Very proud with our P1s giving the courtyard a good tidy to help us be able to use all our bits and pieces to build masterpieces outside.
We had new arrivals
This week we had some new arrivals, 2 more frogs to make our total up to 3 and some shrimps too! We love our new tank and our frogs πΈ too.
Well done Oliver
Well done to Oliver who brought in an amazing about of Olympic stickers from Aldi. What a super support! Well done!
Bedtime Stories

Taanashe is Terrific
Well done to Taanashe who has worked really hard in Ballet to achieve a medal. We loved hearing about her dance moves and hope to see some more soon.
Miss Page
This week some of you may have noticed we have a visitor to the class, Miss Page. Miss Page will be with us as a student teacher until Friday the 6th of December. Weβve loved having her in the class so far and we canβt wait to spend more time playing and learning with her.
Taking Care of Babies
Some of the learners this week were really interested in taking care of the dolls as they had noticed they were dirty. The children begun to bathe the dolls in the bath and conversations took place about holding a baby and how to change a nappy. What wonderful ideas
Some of our learners found beetroot in our raised bed and some carrots. We loved exploring the colours and begun to write with the leaves of the beetroot.
