Friday Fun
Friday brought snow and we were excited! Here is a wee snapshot of us playing in it before it disappeared. Our snowman had a beetroot for a nose from our raised bed. Inside we enjoyed painting, drawing and construction. A great end to a super week.

Leek and Potato Soup
Some children wanted to continue with soup making this week and realised we had left over leeks and potatoes from the previous week. So off we went to get the chopping boards, knives and cooker to start our soup.
Wonderful Inventions
Here are some of the wonderful inventions we have been introduced to this week. One combines a tortoise backpack that can then change into a protective hat. We have a super rocket launcher and a wonderful musical cube that jingles.
Pumpkin Soup
On Thursday we read the story Pumpkin Soup as we carved pumpkins. This led to one pupil asking to make pumpkin soup and searched for recipes.
