Parents Evening

Thank you all for coming to parents evening this week. It was a great chance to get to know you all and your wee ones a little bit better.

As I mentioned, if you have any questions, queries or concerns or any amazing achievements to share please do not hesitate to catch myself or Mrs Naismith at the door or email or call.

Loving Literacy

Some book boats and advertising the puppet theatre 🎭
Acting out our stories.

So far this week, Primary 1B have found the puppet theatre this week. This has led to so many stories shared with the puppets, adverts made and tickets designed. Today’s tickets were £10 and well worth it!

We’ve also enjoyed reading outside using our pallets for a nice space to sit and relax with a book.

Can’t wait for more of this wonderful child led learning this week.

Red Book Bags

P1 Homework

This week marks the start of Primary 1 reading together book bags. Along with lots of other important letters, in your child’s book bag you will find a lovely story book to share with your child along with a card that will have some ideas on how to grow the learning around the book at home.

We will send home a new book every Friday until the holidays with the previous one coming in each Wednesday. There will be no book bags home on a Wednesday or Thursday to allow us time to get the next exciting read ready.

We hope you enjoy spending time reading and sharing these with your child.
